De textiel illustraties van <span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"><a href="http://www.elleskessels.com" target="_blank"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 0, 102);">Elles
|
||
Kessels</span></a></span> zijn een creatieve
|
||
uitlaatklep van deze van ideeën bruisende vrouw. Als autonoom
|
||
kunstenaar werkt zij al een paar jaar aan haar kunstwerkjes, met als
|
||
primaire doel de weg naar het eindproduct. Inmiddels heeft ze ontdekt
|
||
dat het eindresultaat ronduit tof is, en dat wil ze nu graag delen met
|
||
anderen.

|
||
Elles’ voorliefde voor tweedehandswinkels, vintage spulletjes
|
||
en de sfeer en kleuren van toen zijn terug te zien in haar werk. In de
|
||
expositie zijn onder andere een snoezig 3D Fisher Price muziekdoosje en
|
||
een geweldige illustratie van ’80 rollerskates te zien. Ook haar
|
||
veelzijdigheid komt tot zijn recht: van een minutieus machinaal
|
||
geborduurd hart tot ritmische geometrische patronen tot een stiksel
|
||
‘Bubblegum’. Je kijkt je ogen uit!
|
||
