Amersfoort) is een gedreven kunstschilder met oog voor detail en een

||
prachtig kleurpalet. Ze schildert verfijnd maar pakt voor de
|
||
landschappen graag het paletmes. Om er soms een schitterend detail aan
|
||
toe te voegen.</span></p>

||
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">
|
||
Dat lijkt een tegenstelling met de onderwerpen die Joke kiest:
|
||
afgelegen en verlaten landschappen, soms met lege circustenten. De
|
||
sfeer heeft iets mysterieus, is soms zelfs een tikje melancholisch.
|
||
Toch is het werk innemend. Waarschijnlijk omdat het met veel tederheid
|
||
geschilderd is.
|
||

|
||
Waar ligt de grens tussen werkelijkheid en verbeelding? Die vraag komt
|
||
op bij de schilderijen van Joke. Ze speelt ermee. Door subtiele
|
||
verwijzingen, symboliek en wonderlijke combinaties.
|
||
Haar schilderijen zijn geen vrolijke niemendalletjes. Maar o, wat houdt
|
||
ze van haar werk!
|
||
